Things have changed here Penny suffering from dog separation anxiety, she really doesn’t like Daddy going to work all the time, it is not like before when he would be away for 2-3 human days and then home for 2 or 3 days.
We started to notice, when daddy leaves for work she runs back into daddy’s room where our beds are, but she gets under Daddy’s blankets and if Mummy tries to get her out or take the sheets off the bed to wash them she starts growling at her then tries to pull them back over herself the other day she put a hole in one of the sheets and Mummy was not happy.
Daddy Was Away
I think the dog separation anxiety started when Daddy was going away for what was to us such a long times but in fact it was the 2 or 3 days at a time, it was a long to for us but I knew he was coming back.
I thought when daddy started just going away early morning and coming back when it started getting dark she would settle back down but she hasn’t.
We Went For Our Check Ups
Daddy took us to our Doctor recently, and she had to put this thing over penny’s mouth as she growling so much the Doctor thought Penny was going to bite her. But penny told me she was scared that’s why she growled.
I think the biggest thing is Daddy spoils her all the time and when she starts growling like that she gets his attention.
Daddy went Out
When Daddy went out of the room penny went really quiet sat down and started shaking and let the doctor do what she had to do. The doctor then asked mummy a few questions, and that is when she told Mummy that penny was suffering dog separation anxiety.
Now Daddy has to take Penny to a special place on her own for some special training to get her over this problem.
I will be glad when her training is over as maybe things will be back to normal.
